Working fewer than 90 days?
Creative and performing artists and 'administrative or technical worker involved in ensuring the performances' are exempt from work permits as long as the stay does not exceed 14 days. (Immigration Law, section 9(3)1).
Working for more than 90 days?
Residence permit with right to employment required.
Employed and self-employed options.
Additional requirements
- Criminal record certificate
- Proof of means of subsistence (currently equivalent to €2286 per month)
- Can be applied for either via the Embassy or directly in Latvia (there is a forwarding fee if applying at the Embassy)
