Musicians have always faced challenges and obstacles in the course of their careers but, in these unstable times, the challenges are increasing and becoming more complex. It’s easy to feel daunted and under-prepared. The ISM Trust, the sister charity of The Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM), has devised a unique one-day event to help support and empower musicians at all stages of their careers with the latest advice and insights to help them get ahead.
Join us on Thursday 4 October for an exciting day of discussion and discovery, with innovative musicians and leading music industry experts sharing their experiences, crucial insider knowledge and invaluable tips for success during four in-depth, interactive panel discussions. The day will include live music, networking opportunities a free lunch and post-event cocktails.
This is not just another networking event – this is your chance to learn business skills, from negotiating contracts to marketing and promotion; discover how to make your musical projects a success; understand the importance of looking after your mental and physical health; and explore how to develop a career within the burgeoning framework of digital technologies.
This event is open to everyone. You don't have to be an ISM member to attend.
