Various festivals across UK and Europe either provide performance opportunities for unsigned bands and artists to perform on stage or provide their contact details for performance enquires, here we list some of these festivals.
Melboss Music has launched a new contest for indie artists in collaboration with Daisy Morton (artist management for Icelandic singer Björk). Applications are open to females, under age 25; and prices include a 1-1 mentoring session with Daisy Morton.
i-Portunus funding, from Creative Europe Desk UK, provides financial support to help fund the cost of travel (transportation, accommodation etc.) for artists (including performers) to another Creative Europe country.
Tipping Point has announced a songwriting residency for emerging artists and music creators aged between 18-25 across the North East. The residency aims to develop 12 artists’ songwriting skills and professional practices.
Listen Imagine Compose are offering a Masters in Teaching and Learning, as part of their CPD programme for secondary music teachers. The course is designed to develop skills in teaching composing with KS3, KS4 and KS5 students.
Live Music Now are recruiting new musicians. They offer training and paid performances to musicians at the start of their professional career, working with diverse audiences who do not normally have access to high quality live music.
