ISM unveils new £50 graduate membership offer

The Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) has today (1 August) unveiled a £50 graduate membership offer.

Musicians who have graduated from their first music degree within the last ten years are able to take advantage of this discount. The graduate membership rate starts at £50 per year, increasing to £110 in the fourth year of membership. This represents a saving of £452 over four years. ISM student members receive an extra year of membership at £50.

Deborah Annetts, Chief Executive of the Incorporated Society of Musicians said:

‘Ensuring the future musical workforce is adequately supported is of paramount concern to the ISM. We understand that the start of a musician’s career can be a difficult time financially so in response to feedback and the ever-increasing challenges for graduates, we took the decision to reduce our graduate membership to £50 a year.’

Graduate members receive the same benefits as members paying the full rate (£176) including direct access to one-to-one legal advice and representation from the ISM’s specialist in-house team, public liability insurance cover up to £10,000,000, professional listings for promotion, an unpaid fees service to recover overdue payments owed, unlimited discounted insurance on any number of musical instruments and equipment of any value, hundreds of discounts on a huge range of personal and musical products and services, and much more.
