On 20 March the government announced support measures to protect workers.

Listed below is the ISM's latest advice on what Government financial measures mean for music professionals and how you can access support.

The measures fall far short of what is needed for freelance workers, so we are lobbying intensely for change. See more about this further down the page.

Many of our members and other freelance musicians have lost work overnight and now cannot afford basic living costs such as food and rent.

Government must support freelance musicians with an urgent emergency fund. The ISM has written to Government urging action.
