Singing for Seniors

The Singing for Seniors Leader Course, led by Susan Garrett, gives you the necessary practical skills, knowledge and confidence to lead a Singing for Seniors session. The course is suitable for care workers, volunteers, activities staff and family members as well as musicians wanting to develop skills in this area.

Those who complete this training will:

  • Understand how singing affects the wellbeing of those with dementia
  • Boost confidence and skills to lead the session
  • Learn what makes a great Singing & Reminiscence Session
  • Ensure they are fully prepared for a successful Singing & Reminiscence Session.

Course begins with registration from 9am for 9:30 start.

Cancellations less than 1 month before course date are not accepted.
