BBC Education Bring the Noise

We’re working in partnership with BBC Education on Bring the Noise, an exciting and ambitious primary school music education initiative launching Thursday 12 September.

Free to use curriculum-linked resources for teachers and children aged four to seven will make music teaching and learning, simple, accessible and engaging right across the UK.

Bring the Noise will support teachers to place music education at the heart of every classroom and inspire children to take their first steps towards a life of musical enjoyment.

The resources include specially composed songs across a variety of genres, an interactive teaching tool called Play It!, teacher technique guides, classroom videos and lesson plans.

Working together with partners, Bring the Noise aims to turn the spotlight on music education, championing its benefits in the classroom and at home.

Primary schools around the UK are invited to watch and join in with ‘YolanDa Brown’s Bring the Noise Adventure’ a special live launch programme and musical performance direct to classrooms at 1.45pm, on 12 September.

Saxophonist YolanDa Brown and her band will be joined by special guests including presenter Maddie Moate, artists JB Gill and Sharlene Hector, and Hacker T Dog, with the world renowned BBC Philharmonic conducted by Omer Meir Wellber.
