Vocal health: Keeping a clear voice

Unfortunately, it's not unusual for professional singers to experience vocal problems from heavy work periods, meaning that they have to take time out from performing as a result.

This handbook, published by Vocalzone and iSing magazine, is designed to give you a brief overview of vocal health, including tips and warm up exercises, which you can build upon once you know what works best for you.

If you suspect vocal damage, always seek medical advice and limit your voice use until you've had appropriate consultation from your medical professional. The British Voice Association has an online directory of voice clinics and additional guidance and videos on their website.
