What Government financial measures mean for music professionals

On 20 March the government announced a raft of measures designed to support the economy and protect jobs. Protections for employed and zero-hour workers were announced alongside increased support for the self-employed.

The measures fall far short of what is needed for freelance workers however and the ISM has called on the Chancellor outlining our concerns and urging Government to introduce an emergency fund for the self-employed.
