Continuing professional development
We publicise continuing professional development events that are relevant to professional musicians. These include awards, contests and scholarships as well as conferences and courses.
We also run our own events, including regular seminars and conferences as well as numerous professional and social events throughout the UK.
Instrumental and vocal teachers may also be interested in the Music Teaching in Professional Practice (Mtpp) Initiative, which we run in partnership with Reading University. This postgraduate programme enables private and other instrumental and vocal teachers to study by distance-learning for a recognised qualification while continuing to work in their studios.
