Thursday 12 – Friday 13 April
LSO St Luke’s and Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London
This year, the Olympics come to London, and so does the ISM Conference. Aspiration and achievement are the hallmarks of Going for Gold. We celebrate aspiration and ambition in composition and music-making, and also incredible achievement, be it scholarly, in broadcasting, or in performance. In two days, leading British musicians talk about their work and bring their music to life. Classical, contemporary and jazz are all explored. You will hear some of Britain’s best up-and-coming talent and hear from established masters of this great art.
