Musicians’ livelihoods can be precarious even at the best of times. The ISM Members Fund supports ISM members, former members and their families who are experiencing hard times.

We offer financial grants and also help members to access other forms of support, for instance,
- We help members and their families who are unable to work because of serious illness or injury
- We help members in financial difficulties for other reasons also, such as having to care for a family member or marital breakdown
- We help retired members struggling to meet the cost of basic needs
- We provide the ISM’s 24-hour advice and counselling helpline for members and their families to talk through money, debt and health issues in confidence with a trained adviser or counsellor

How you can help
The Fund is not financed in any way by members’ annual subscriptions. It has been able to support musicians and their families through hard times thanks to the generous donations and legacies of individuals wanting to help musicians in need.

How to apply for support
If you, or someone you know, needs the Fund’s help, please contact us immediately. You can download an application form by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page. Please send the completed form to ISM Members Fund, 10 Stratford Place, London W1C 1AA. You should expect to hear back from us within two to three weeks.
