Information and Policy Officer
One Year Contract
Salary £23,000 to £25,000
The ISM is looking for an Information and Policy Officer to join our well respected and influential external affairs function. We are a thriving organisation which believes in the power of music and supports our membership of 7,000 professional musicians through a comprehensive range of membership services including advocacy, legal advice and professional development.
The ISM has a led a number of high profile and successful campaigns in the music sector. You will be working with the Head of External Affairs to consolidate this work as well as working with the Head of Legal and others to develop resources to support our external affairs, professional development and legal functions. You will also manage some of our stakeholder groups, provide advice to members, run surveys, collate data and be involved in policy formation.
You will have worked in external affairs or policy formation or in an advisory capacity and will be excited by using your skills to support the musician and protect the arts and music in particular. You will have excellent written and interpersonal skills, a good understanding of public affairs, pride yourself on accuracy and be a team player.
You will be joining a small professional staff team based in central London where the emphasis is on good communication and team work.
