ISM Members Fund
Most musicians’ livelihoods are precarious even at the best of times. The ISM Members Fund supports members (and former members) and their families who are experiencing hard times. We offer financial grants and also help members to access other forms of support.
For instance,
- we help members and their families who are unable to work because of serious illness or injury
- we help members in financial difficulties for other reasons also, such as having to care for a family member or marital breakdown
- we help retired members struggling to meet the cost of basic needs
- we pay for the 24-hour counselling helpline which helps members and their families
- we offer heavily-indebted members access to the services of a money adviser who will, if necessary, negotiate with their creditors for them
Any musician could need the Fund’s help. It could be you or one of your friends or colleagues.
