Council and committees
Our overall governing body is the ISM Council. All Council members are directors of the ISM and as such they have a strategic and policy role, while also ensuring that all the statutory obligations of the ISM are discharged. Council members are also Trustees of the ISM Members Fund.
The Executive Committee and our three Section Committees are also involved in advising on policy matters, while the staff team is responsible for both long term planning and the delivery of the strategic objectives of the Society.
