Our
Associate membership scheme is designed for those who want to be part of the ISM
but who do not need the professional benefits of Full membership.
As
an Associate member, you will receive a range of services that will allow you to
stay in touch with the profession and to support the work of the ISM and its
members.
Associate members of the ISM can draw on a wide range of benefits, including the
ISM’s monthly magazine Music Journal, to keep you up to date with the ISM’s
activities and developments in the musical world; information sheets on a
variety of issues, and publications including our Specialist Section registers;
listing in the Yearbook; special rates at ISM conferences and seminars; a
network of regional Centres holding professional and social events; and
substantial discounts on many goods and services, such as musical instrument and
household insurance schemes, sheet music, software, mobile phones and
instruments.
While it is not a substitute for Full membership - it does not, for example,
offer specialised legal or technical services - our Associate members’ category
is an excellent way of keeping in touch with the music profession and the ISM
itself.
